1. Basil Sauce
First, basil sauce is absolutely delicious and best for salads and vegetables. Just like most sauces on this page, basil sauce is extremely refreshing. This recipe consists of fresh basil leaves, olive oil, and garlic. Basil leaves are extremely well-known and used for a lot of Italian cuisine. There have been reports that basil leaves cause stress reduction.
2. Sweet Chili Sauce
Does this sound delicious?! That’s because it is! Sweet chili sauce is best paired with my famous south african samosas or well-known Philipino lumpia. Sweet chili sauce is made with rice vinegar, water, sugar, garlic, red pepper flakes, samabal oelek(chili paste), and cornstarch. Sweet chili sauce is normally also used for burritos, tacos, and flataus.
3. Dill Sauce
Dill weed is best known as a stringy herb. This can be sold fresh or dry. It has a strong distinctive taste that is very similar to fennel. Dill sauce is made with mayonnaise, sour cream, dill, and lemon. You can add your fair share of green onions and cut up celery if you’d like to this recipe. 4. Mint Sauce
Made from fresh mint leaves, mint sauce has a unique flavor and tastes like spring itself. Mint sauce is refreshing, healthy, and beautiful alive green color. 5. Mint Jelly
In addition to mint sauce is mint jelly! Mint jelly is made of that exact jello-like consistency we all grew up with or have made jelly shots with! The texture is a preference- similar tasting and styles compared to mint sauce are true. The texture is the difference. It is also not has strong as mint sauce so if you like something a little more subtle-try mint jelly. 6. Pesto Sauce
Refreshing and as soon as I make this- I want to throw it on a pasta, pizza, or chicken instantly! Pesto sauce is my favorite and It differs a little bit from basil sauce as it requires pine nuts and parmesan cheese inside this mixture. The ingredients are fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, olive oil, and a dash of water.
7. Viniagrette Dressing
My Vinaigrette dressing/sauce recipe is extremely simple. It is probably the most simple recipe on this entire article. It is made with red wine vinegar, black pepper, and olive oil. Finally, the taste of Italian in your mouth! My tomato sauce is made from fresh tomatoes with a hint of fresh oregano and basil. Your latest food processor will hook you up with a nice tomato sauce in no time! I used Cuisinart Food Processor roma tomatoes, salt, oregano, basil, and garlic for this recipe.
